Kelton Ching is a Makeup Artist, Fabricator and Illustrator based in Los Angeles, California.

 

He was born in North Carolina, USA, but moved to Singapore at the age of 3. In 2010, he graduated from Lasalle College of the Arts with a Diploma in Fine Arts (Painting).

 

He began creating costumes in 2007 which sparked his interest in makeup.

 

He moved to Los Angeles in 2014 to further his studies in makeup and graduated from Cinema Makeup School with a diploma, after completing the Master Makeup Program.

 

To date, he has done makeup for short films and Youtube videos for channels like Critical Role, Rocketjump, IGN and Smosh. He has also worked on music videos by artists including Kanye West and Rob Zombie. He has also worked on commercials for TMobile and Warner Brothers.

 

He was the Key Makeup FX artist and Character concept designer on Jon Knautz's 'The Cleaning Lady'(2018). He has also done makeup work for Henchmen Studios and Blizzard Entertainment for new character reveals for Moira from the game Overwatch at Blizzcon '17 and Lilith from the game Diablo 4 at Blizzcon '19.

 

At Blizzcon 2018 he won 1st place as Overall Best in Show with his male Symmetra - "The Creator" Costume.

​Besides working on costumes and makeup he also enjoys watching horror/splatter films, playing video games, painting, sculpting, reading and long runs.
